Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve

Swamp Serenity...

I toured the Cypress Slough in Fort Myers last month alone and brought only a book and my camera. But, as always, when basking in nature, I came away with much more than I entered with. Peace. Wonder. Photos. Follow my lens…

I love this photo! It looks like a painting.

The ubiquitous Ibis.

Serenity.

Nature is the best Christmas gift, besides books!

If you missed last week’s Shark Valley post, be sure to backtrack and check it out. It was a memorable day.

  1. Hello,
Looks like a great place to enjoy nature. Great captures of the Heron, Egret and the Ibis.
I like the turtles too! Thank your for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week ahead.

  2. Hello Sharon – I feel a very Zen Wren having joined you for this beautiful wander in nature in your alligator neighbourhood – we’re used to the crocs & snakes in Australia, so no worries there, although we do prefer the turtles and birds! It’s been lovely following your lens – happy days!
