Las Vegas and Beyond…

"I hate Disneyland. It primes our kids for Las Vegas." ~
Tom Waits

Day 1

The back side of the Hoover Dam in Nevada.

We’re taking souvenirs, breaking the bank, and crossing state lines! Red rock is in the rearview mirror, and red dust gets tracked into our rentals. The sun is stronger than Mr. Clean, and the undulating curves at Antelope Canyon coiled around our hearts. The beauty of the Southwest is unsurpassed. I’m posting one photo per day until the end of the trip. Follow our feet…

Day 2

The flowery side of Red Rock Canyon

Day 4

Day 5

The Neon Museum

Day 6

Valley of Fire Petroglyphs.

Before we left Vegas, I wanted to get a photo of my book at the retro Las Vegas sign, but there was a long line at 7:30 a.m. Good grief! Who’s up at that hour in Vegas besides us? So I took this photo by the VOF petroglyphs. More on that location later…

Day 7

Epic Bryce Canyon, Utah! More to come of course.

Day 8

The Bird’s Eye trail

Day 9

The famous Antelope Canyon in Page, AZ! We covered this slot canyon from beginning to end with photo souvenirs.

Stay tuned for much more from our ongoing spring trip to Nevada, Utah, and Arizona!

Don’t forget to check out last week’s trip to Monument Valley!
