Little Sugar Loaf Trail

In Sedona, nature is an explosion of color and sculpture, like the solidified fires of hell. But in a good way!

A photo from Fay Canyon

This year in Sedona, Arizona, my husband traversed the challenging hikes alone (usually in the morning), and in the afternoons, we tackled an easy hike together. I’ve never been much of a climber, and now, with debilitating arthritis in my feet, it can seem impossible. I’m always happy to walk on soft sand or a dirt trail because it is easier on my feet, and red dirt is even better! But red rock, not so much. We all have our limitations. At least I can still do it. I mean, I’m not going to sit around while nature calls.

The remaining photos are from Little Sugar Loaf Trail…

Towards the end, you’re rewarded with a classic Sedona panorama. Stay tuned!

  2. Hello :=)
    The colours almost look unreal in their vibrancy. Beautiful shots of this special landscape, Cacti, and Jay. That last photo is very beautiful.

  3. Beautiful scenery – aloe, painted rocks, a (?) Mexican Jay – the last photo, especially, really showed the beauty of the region.
