Miami Monday

Freebie Fundays.

My husband has a superpower: he’s a travel freebie genius! We had a mostly free stay at two fancy hotels in Miami over the weekend. The night at Loews was particularly fancy pants. I’ve always told my husband he should create a post about freebies because the stuff he schedules is out of this world. If you’re curious about our travel freebies, miles, points, and how to use them, email me! I have my email on my contact page now. The behind-the-scenes stuff is my husband’s division. I’m all about the takeaway—the souvenirs. Follow my arthritic feet…

Yum! Visit Mosaic Monday.

We could see the tip top of the cruise ships returning to port from our hotel balcony.

Mr. 01 Pizza tastes like fun!

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens ~ More on that next week!

I love to watch the patterns shift on this tower from our balcony. My favorite is the giant goldfinch swimming across the screens.

Our picnic sandwich is buried behind the Doritos. Great people watching here!

It’s fun to watch the traffic in and out of Calle 6 from our balcony, too.

Yay!

  2. I’ve lived and cruised Miami and have always love the vibe and everything about it. I haven’t been in a few years. Viscaya since 1982! Can’t wait to see your post on it. I’m curious about that beach. What is the name of it?

    Have a good weekend!

  3. Lucky you to have a husband who knows how to get freebies! That first photo with the red light lighting up the palm trees is amazing. And wow! Those gardens/mansion would I love to see that!
