Slick Rock and Mesa Arch

It's as slick as a buttered turkey...

This week’s upcoming highlights:

  1. Roast turkey, creamy mashed potatoes, and crispy stuffing with lots of butter and sage.
  2. Gravy.
  3. Boozy apple cider, chocolate bitters, and bourbon cocktails.
  4. Pumpkin magic bars with Godiva chocolate chips and salty coconut topping.
  5. Blessings tallied, calories unaccounted for, cooking chores completed, and conversation with old friends.
  6.  Red rock.

Okay, one of these things doesn’t belong, and I’m not talking about the bourbon. Here in Florida, there’s more red tide than red rock. I’m okay with that as long as we can return to Utah next Spring. This week, follow my feet through a lunar slick rock landscape and the famous Mesa Arch in Canyonlands…

Happy Thanksgiving!
