Nature Reading

My book bag chronicles...

Briggs Boardwalk sports a short and sweet walk on planet earth.

The Naples Preserve sits inside a city of beastly drivers.

My lanai has good condo bones.

Ten Thousand Islands in the Everglades is the home of feathered critters and reptile creatures.

The Gordon River Greenway has mangrove shoots and sprouts.

The Crew Trails can be deadly….I’ve seen Florida panther prints!

The Rich King Memorial Greenway is imprinted with an epic cypress tree.

My novel will levitate to many little libraries around Florida, Minnesota, and beyond in 2024. I’m planning to leave a copy wherever we roam, including our upcoming trip to Costa Rica! Our travels to Guatemala inspired my novel and the concept hatched in Sedona, Arizona. I hope this post inspires you to give the gift of reading this Christmas. Be sure to follow the advice of my blog header…

  1. I think it’s a great idea to leave your books at Little Free Libraries. It also reminds me that I haven’t been on any Florida trails since January 2020. Would I be a bit reluctant to take a trail knowing Florida panther track have been spotted there? Perhaps not, if there are a lot of other people around.
