Here lies me during a post-snorkel nap on Cano Island off the coast of Costa Rica. Beat. Total exhaustion.
I sat in a crab den, but I didn’t care, and I even found one crawling on me when I returned to the boat. See last week’s post for the snorkel highlights. This week is all about the aftermath. The only reason I created this post was to include the special delivery. No UPS here. Just old-fashioned horse power!

After our snorkel excursion, we stopped at a beach on the mainland for a beer and a look-see.

A very special delivery! While we lounged on a post snorkel sojourn, an appliance arrived by boat and was delivered by horse power. Mosaic Monday.

Later, the wet, sticky, and eclectic snorkeling crew dined at a beachside restaurant. Then we dragged our bedraggled selves back to our car. After we hung our clothes to dry, my long sleeve shirt fell on the floor, and by the look of things, we thought a dog had pooped on it. Nope. It was a big, fat caterpillar.

My best boat book promo.

Hello Sharon,
That is a big fat caterpillar. Cute doggies. It is a special delivery first by boat and then by horse.
Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a wonderful week!
Thank you for sharing and for linking at MosaicMonday.
Never the less, I believe you had fun with seeing this special caterpillar. It’s reading was funny…
That looks like it was quite a day.
The mule is way more charming than any delivery truck.
Items were delivered by boat and then transferred to an unusual mule and buggy rig. What a sight to behold. Made my day!
What a wonderful read! And amazing photos. It’s interesting how the mule (donkey?) is transportation for a modern appliance!
How fantastic to have deliveries by horse! Snorkeling sounds exhausting, but I bet it was fun with great memories. I’ll check out your post on your trip. Costa Rica looks like an interesting place to visit.
