Granada, Nicaragua
I’m reposting our visit to Cementerio De Granada from many years ago. It is the only time I toured a cemetery amidst roaming cows. The place is irregular, broken, and moldering, but isn’t that what you want to see in a cemetery? The bleached stones and marble are ornate and beautiful. Mombacho volcano looms in the distance, and history lies beneath. Follow our feet…

Scenes from Nicaragua for Mosaic Monday.

It was my two year book-iversary last Friday, and I had a blast during my author takeover at Tattered Page Book club, gaining reading friends, newsletter subscribers, and giving away lots of books. In other news, Dreamsphere Books returned my edit and work has begun on Chorus of Crows, which is set to launch in early 2026!

I’ve never seen cows in a cemetery before either!
So many of our cemeteries are like ultra well kept parks. I prefer the old family and tribal cemeteries. I love yours.
