July Fourth means Duluth. Period. We always eat at Bali Asian Cuisine, Burrito Union, Sammy’s Pizza, Hippie Tacos, Va Bene, Corktown, OMC, and Lyric. But we don’t eat in a restaurant. We get takeout and picnic in Leif Erikson, Lester, Lincoln, and Kitchi Gami parks. My favorite is Enger Park and its stunning view, and don’t forget to ring the ancient bell! But you’ll see that we did more than eat. Follow our feet…

Cheers! Drinks at Kitchi Gami.

Another spin on the wild and wonderful Willard Munger Trail.

My favorite perch on the north shore of Lake Superior.

Red rocks at Iona Beach.

Summer Lupine on the Gitchi Gami bike trail.

Here’s a group of intrepid rafters dueling the river at Jay Cooke State Park.

It looks like you had a great time. As far as I’m concerned, where to eat is one of the big questions on any trip.
Great shots.
What a fantastic July Fourth! Nice photos. The photos of the rafters really caught my eye.
A wonderful view in your life. I enjoyed reading very much, admire your endurance.
Thank you for sharing at MosaicMonday
I’ve been to Duluth several times and I have never been to that ‘perch’. I’ll have to look for it next time I am there. Visiting from Travel Tuesday.
Beautiful area and the perfect way to share a meal. I’m in. I would love to have this same adventure.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. ♥
Thankyou for taking us out with you today. The view of Lake Superior – is superior! and those purple lupins – so gorgeous. I think my canoeing days are over. 🙂 Enjoy your weekend ahead. I am visiting you from Mosaic Monday.
Your post makes me want to head up to Duluth this week!!
Duluth is an exciting town for sure. First of all, it looks like a European town if you arrive from the state of Wisconsin. I will write down these hints of parks and places to eat so that when our family visits again, we can walk in your footsteps. Happy Trails!
Ma haencantado la imagen del puente con las sombras que se reproducen en él.
Preciosa la Naturaleza, que hay en tu hermoso país.
Feliz fin de semana.

I adore your food choices and how you choose places to devour it! It all looks quite beautiful. Thank you for linking up.
