Alligators at the Big Cypress Oasis.
Today wraps up my previous trip to Shark Valley with highlights from the drive along Old 41, which shoots straight through the abundant Florida Everglades, spilling out near my new digs in Naples.
We biked Shark Valley again last weekend, and I snapped many photos. The drive alone was worth the trip, with enormous flocks of white egrets and wood storks grazing in the misty, tranquil, endless Everglades. I’ll post those photos later, so stay tuned and follow my wheels…
A tree branch that slithers like a snake at Kirby Storter Roadside Park.
I framed this photo.
Signs at the Clyde Butcher Fine Art Gallery.
Back at home, an immature bald eagle sighting outside our condo. Why leave with ceaseless wildlife outside our door?
Sunset on Naples beach! Be sure to check out my travel article over at Creator’s Roulette this week. It’s like my weekly travel posts, except on Central American steroids! Click the wheel below to visit book blogger Kriti Khare’s website.
The sunset is beautiful. Cool series on the gator. Pretty flowers!
I love the signs! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post.
Take care, enjoy your day and have a great week!
Amazing captures!
From the looks of these photos you’ve gotten much MUCH closer to an alligator than I ever hope to get. They make me nervous behind a glass enclosure!

Beautiful. Top shot.
That beach photo is sublime. I love the gator pictures, especially the closeups. Good thing it isn’t going to demand reimbursement for Name, Image, and Likeness.
I love the gator close-up photos. Very much hoping you were using a telephoto lens!!
Very nice shots.
Visiting from Skywatch Friday group.
Worth a Thousand Words
Wow! How did you get such close ups of the alligator?
