Miami to Naples

Sometimes, the drive is the best part of the journey...

Today wraps up my previous trip to Shark Valley with highlights from the drive along Old 41, which shoots straight through the abundant Florida Everglades, spilling out near my new digs in Naples.  

We biked Shark Valley again last weekend, and I snapped many photos. The drive alone was worth the trip, with enormous flocks of white egrets and wood storks grazing in the misty, tranquil, endless Everglades. I’ll post those photos later, so stay tuned and follow my wheels…

  3. That beach photo is sublime. I love the gator pictures, especially the closeups. Good thing it isn’t going to demand reimbursement for Name, Image, and Likeness.
