
We passed Wilson Arch on our way to the Needles district in the southeast corner of Canyonlands National Park. So often, tourists don’t have time to visit anything but Arches National Park, and that’s too bad because there’s so much to enjoy in Canyonlands. On a previous day, we hiked to the end of the distant red mesa behind the gnarly tree bones, and looked out upon this sea of striated stone.
