Pompano Beach, Florida

Pompano, pelicans, and pigeons, etc...

If you visit Pompano, there’s plenty to do. The pier is a must-see, and I already walked the planks here: https://sharonwagnerbooks.com/pompano-beach-pier/ And don’t miss the Bonnet House and its beautiful gardens https://sharonwagnerbooks.com/bonnet-house-museum-gardens/ in nearby Fort Lauderdale. I also posted about an old school attraction called Flamingo Gardens recently, full of peacocks, flamingos, and fun.

Of course, there’s a beach!

But if you follow my feet, you’ll see we also visited Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and spent time pounding the pavement towards the happy hour and eats at Baresco. (not shown) The funniest thing that happened to us was a baby opossum visiting our hotel patio. Only in Pompano!

Yum, look at that salad!
