Way out in the middle of nowhere, we investigated petrified dinosaur tracks in an ancient river bed and former swamp. This activity is another highlight of our time in Moab, Utah, that most people probably don’t have time to see. Moab is so otherworldly that imagining dinosaurs roaming the area isn’t much of a stretch. But it is hard to imagine the land as the artist’s renderings depict it: lush and watery.
Follow my feet…
The artist renderings brought the ancient action to life!

Next week I’ll post the dino bones! Stay tuned…
How very cool.
Wow! This is indeed amazing! A walk in the past!
What a neat place to visit. The dino tracks are cool.
Love the flowers and butterfly.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post.
Take care, have a great day and happy week ahead!
It’s interesting to be able to visualize how big Dino’s were. Being at the park would be amazing to actually see the size of the footprints and then the artists drawings.
Fascinating. It’s hard to imagine these lasting for so long!

Worth a Thousand Words
I’ve heard of these but never seen them live. Must be fascinating!
Those dinosaur tracks are pretty cool. When we lived in Price, UT there were areas where you could still see dinosaur tracks as well.
