Florida Files: Part 2

“He that does good for good's sake seeks neither paradise nor reward, but he is sure of both in the end.” ~ William Penn

Sunrise reflected in the Western sky of Naples, Florida.

Paradise lost. Costa Rica, 2025, is over. But some tourists pay a lot of money to visit my new hometown in Florida. This is especially true if you’re visiting Orlando’s theme parks with a big family. So maybe I’m still in paradise. Life isn’t perfect, but there are many moments of natural bliss. Plus, it’s warm. 🙂

Follow my lens…

A lonely Limpkin. I love their exotic and melancholy call.

My book bag is always full on Florida trails. I finally finished Black Sheep. Plus, a few other books. 🙂

I snapped this photo from inside our lanai.

Our beloved boy has cancer. But he’s doing well on kitty chemo, and as you can see, he still has some kitten in him.

So sorry to hear about your kitty, but I’m glad he’s doing well.

    Congrats on the Goodreads giveaway!

  3. Sorry about kitty having cancer. Glad he is getting treatment has some kitten still left.
I love your limpkin. We had one that made it to Oklahoma. The naturalists said that it was there probably because of the hurricanes last year.

  4. You’re home already? For some reason I thought you lived in Costa Rica. I’m sorry about your cat. My cat just died of cancer. He was only 8 years old. I was so heartbroken. But I just adopted two kittens from the shelter, so now two new fur babies have a loving home.
