We stayed on Anastasia Island near St. Augustine last Spring. It’s one of those wide Atlantic beaches where you must watch for oncoming traffic. Typically, the only things to navigate on beach days are stingrays, sunburn, sharp seashells, or rogue waves. But Crescent Beach is so vast they allow vehicles. I prefer bare foot traffic over radials. However, I loved the epic dunes!

The beach is calling.
Stay tuned for photo safaris in Puerto Rico!

I agree, it is a beautiful place to visit. We stayed very close to there 3 years ago and were just a short walk to the beach! The sunrises are just incredible! Thank you! Happy Easter! Cathy

Beautiful beach images. I wonder what are the short fences for.
I love that lamp post. It´s fantastic!
Looks like a beautiful beach. I have mixed emotions about allowing vehicles on beaches.
Beautiful beaches.
I never heard of this place, but it certainly is eye-popping. Lovely pics!
That is a big beautiful beach.
Years ago when I worked in south Texas I found it great fun to drive the hard packed sand beaches of North Padre Island.
I have never seen beach chairs photographed quite that way before. I like how you think outside the box a lot.
Gorgeous photos, especially the ones with the fisheye lens, are captivating and really capture the island’s unique beauty.
