Day 1
We missed two days of heaven and gained two days of winter because of canceled flights. Plus, we needed to pivot and find new digs after our previous jungle cabana sold. Moving felt negative until we arrived and loved our new place even more!

Now that we’re here, things seem right with the world. Maybe that is because toucans mewl in the distance, rainbow-colored tanagers feed in the treetops, and howler monkeys howl. Or perhaps it is simply because in Costa Rica, we don’t watch the news! 😊

Hello,
I loved hearing the Howler Monkeys! The Toucans are a wonderful sight to see. Love the sky and beach scene.
The food looks delicious. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy day and a great new week!
Wow, that grasshopper is huge.
I am glad for you and a bit envious. The sights and sounds of Costa Rica are so inviting. Hope the grasshopper is not too destructive.
I am so inspired to visit Costa Rica someday.
Love the photos, Sharon.
Beautiful photos from Costa Rica. Beautiful views and nature photos…
That is a jaw-dropping sunset! Looking forward to your future posts. Keep having fun, and don’t read the news!
Beautiful photos, You can keep those gigantic grasshoppers though.
You took some fantastic photographs of monkeys, grasshoppers and toucans plus the delicious looking food. That sunset leaves me speechless.
…a beautiful destination!
Great scenery! The name Costa Rica reminds me that I sometimes go by first name Rica.
It looks like paradise, Sharon! Such wonderful photo captures of the toucans, unusual grasshopper and magnificent sunset. That food looks scrumptious!
Very nice photographs and your almond encrusted chicken with a mango salsa looks delicious.
All the best Jan
