I’m still walking down memory lane this week, remembering a fraction of my Minnesota highlights. We’re moving to Florida, and Minnesota will be in the rearview mirror someday.
In Minneapolis, pleasurable walking trails circumnavigate our chain of lakes, providing access for humans and dogs alike. Lake Superior looms over the northeast side, hugging a hillside treasure called Duluth. Meanwhile, the Mississippi meanders down our southeast side near Red Wing. Beautiful. Duluth and the southeast corner of the state are Minnesota nice. But heck, the rest of Minnesota I don’t care much for at all!
Follow my feet…
Stay tuned for part three!
Hello,
I know you will not miss the Minnesota winters. I do love all your Minnesota birds, especially the Screech Owl.
Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy week ahead.
I loved seeing all your photos in both posts. I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve never really visited Minnesota–we just drove through a portion of it on our way west one time. I’m sure you have many happy memories of your life there, and now you will make many happy new ones in Florida! Best wishes and enjoy the process, Sharon!
Thank you so much for sharing with us at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2023/06/power-tower-nearer-and-clearer.html
Nice memories.
Beautiful photos, the owl is the winner. I’m sure you’ll miss Minnesota when you move to Florida.
I’m always so happy to have lots of photos of my favorite places! Enjoy your week!
The owl shot is fabulous and so is the drawing – how magic to discover that!! #TravelTuesday
The drawing I mean the art work on the pillar…(I had to come back and see what I was refering to!)
Your photos are incredible, Sharon! WOW!
Hugs and blessings
It looks like those Minnesota Wanders are great for photography. Good luck with your move to Florida! I will be in Orlando, later in the year.

Florida? Minnesota? Minnesota every time!
I’ve only been to Minnesota once, and that was (in part) to visit one of my husband’s cousins, who was going to law school in Minneapolis. Minnesota winters aren’t anything I would want to deal with but, of course, Florida (I lived in Tampa for two years way back when) has its moments, too. I love your nature captures, each and every one. Wow!
I enjoyed following your footsteps down memory lane of life in Minnesota. Good luck with the move to Florida. Safe travels. Happy trails!
Lots of people from Minnesota here in Tulsa. They all loved the place but don’t miss the winters.
I’ve only been there once. In the winter. It was cold and the people were nice.
