Highlights from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
I usually delete the unspectacular travel photos that clutter my phone. Luckily, I didn’t delete my Tucson iPhone photos because they are all I have left after my real camera storage card went awry. Nowadays—ever since my camera disappeared in Costa Rica—I transfer memorable photos to my laptop for safekeeping, and most of Sedona and Tucson survived. But not the Desert Museum, the Tucson Botanical Gardens, the zoo (boo-hoo!), shoot-em-up Tombstone, or my favorite hike to the Bowen House ruins. Oh, well. I guess we need to go back and take more photos!

Lovely pictures from your Tucson trip and the gardens! The birds, butterflies, cacti, and blooms look great. I back up my photos on Google Photos, so even if my devices break, I’m covered.

Beautiful photos, and so glad you didn’t lose them! Amazing close-up of the roadrunner. I recently invested in a subscription to OneDrive. It backs up all my files in real time, which is nice.
It’s a heartbreak when photos disappear, but you still had (fortunately) some very nice ones to show us. My photos right now are all iPhone, and are backed up on iCloud and (eventually) my laptop, but it seems nothing is foolproof nowadays.
