My husband completed his 25th Northshore Inline Marathon in Duluth earlier this month. Meanwhile, I feel tuckered after a short hike along the shore. But I don’t let my fleeting energy and poor feet stop me from exploring with my iPhone and camera. Calm, clear waters shone under an orange sky this night.
Usually, waves pummel the Northshore, sending agates and multi-colored stones tingling, while spitting spray like an angry sea monster. This night was peaceful enough for a gaggle of geese.
Gooseberry Falls
I love Duluth!
The orange sky images are pretty. The geese are happy with the calm water.
Love the waterfalls! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post.
Take care, have a wonderful week!
I can see why you love Duluth. Some great scenery.
Gorgeous photography!
Beautiful!
That’s a beautiful shoreline with some interesting geology. Congrats to your husband!
The sunset and the nature pictures are beautiful, as is the bridge photo against the blue and white sky. I’ve never been to Duluth and it’s been almost 50 years since I’ve been to Minnesota (except for a short stop in 2003). Time flies so quickly. Congratulations to your husband.
Beautiful area. I haven’t been to that part of the country. Thanks for showing us.
Worth a Thousand Words
gorgeous images.
Indeed, I enjoyed again your report of the travel. I don’t know this landscape and it’s therefore very interesting to read about.
