The Grand View Trail in Canyonlands, Utah, is a not-to-be-missed hike in Moab. But the same can be said for so many sights and must-see places. Everything is red except for the snow-capped La Sal mountains. Everything is pretty darn rad, too. I’m glad we had plenty of time to explore on foot. So follow them along the scenic rim route.
I still have several posts to go before I wrap up Moab and head to Monument Valley!
Hello Sharon,
Beautiful views and photos! Love the cute chipmunk! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and happy week ahead.
Amazing scenery.
It truly is a grand view. I would say it rivals the Grand Canyon. Gorgeous photos!
I saw some of the southwest scenery some 45 years ago (although not the Canyonlands) and I say to myself, why haven’t I been back? All your pictures are so beautiful. Alana ramblinwitham
Oh yes definitely rad. You are braver than me venturing out on those high rocks. Kudos to you for making an adventure out of your trip and your wonderful photos.
Amazing vistas captured! Must have been an exhilirating experience!
The Grand View Trail looks breathtaking. I watched Bear Grylls’ episode on his survival hike in Moab yesterday. He makes it look so tough!
Wow! Magnificent shots!
What an awesome experience. Great shots!
Worth a Thousand Words
Those amazing atmospheric vistas! And then the sweet little hyrax or whatever. That little creature was a great change of focus and a great post. Thank you! Aloha!
WOW! The red and rugged landscape is breathtaking!
Stunning photos as always, Sharon!
Happy Monday!
Oh how lovely, dear Sharon, we were there last March too! My travel report on that will be coming soon – probably the week after next. But first I’ll tell (in a separate chapter) about our two days in Monument Valley and Navajo National Monument…. By the way, we also saw such a cute chipmunk in Canyonland NP (who knows, maybe even the same one 😊🥰😉)
All the best and happy October days,
Traude
