I’m grateful for your attention. I’m thankful to be in Florida! My husband is freezing in his deer stand. Meanwhile, I’m as toasty as an oven-roasted turkey.
Last week passed similarly to the week before. Even so, I always try to look for new beauty surrounding me. My posts are always predominately visual, but today, I want to leave you with an inspiring mantra: No Mud, No Lotus.
This concept (and book) rings true as I navigate the challenges of book publishing. Change and growth can be dirty—or downright dizzying—when trying to blossom. There will be mud. Discomfort is a form of evolution. Can I accept the muddy part of growing pains? Can you? Follow the book by Thich Nhat Hanh for inspiration.
Meanwhile, follow my feet…
Stay tuned!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Such beautiful Florida photos!
Beautiful images Sharon! I love the Tricolored Heron, the box turtle and the sand turtle sculpture. The frog is a cutie. Beautiful Sky photo! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a great week ahead.
I saw the movie version of Wide Sargasso Sea. It totally makes me rethink Jane Eyre.
Oh I hadn’t heard of this book. I will have to add it to my list to ask at the library. Have a great week, stay safe.
…I love the golden hour!
Hello :=)
The turtle sculpture is brilliant, and I enjoyed seeing the frog, Tricoloured Heron and Box Turtle. Your sky shots are beautiful.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving
All the best.
Very nice pics. Love the Heron. They are my favorite birds to look for at the lake.
You captured a box turtle and then a turtle made of sand. So cool. From our house to your house we wish you and yours a Happy belated Thanksgiving.
