Floral City, Florida: iPhone

I took my first print copy of Chorus of Crows to the bike trail in Floral City!

This is how we spent our time in and around Floral City…

We canoed the maze of peaceful waters outside our rental in the deep backwoods.

We drifted under the spanish moss in the town of Inverness. The town name always made me think of Outlander.

We felt blessed on the Withlacooche Bike Trail.

I got mail! Afterwhich, I took my first print copy of Chorus of Crows to the Withlacooche, and found a massive oak to take my first promo shot. COC launches this Friday the 13th! I spent my birthday in Floral City. (March, 1st) The best gift you can give me is your rating or review of my new book!

We submerged ourselves below Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park.

We walked among ghosts at the May-Stringer House. It is the most haunted historical residence in Florida. As you can see by the memorablia, it is close to Weeki Wachee Springs. Elvis loved the mermaids at Weeki. But other more unsavory visitors lurk in the attic at May-Stringer, like Mr. Nasty…Mosaic Monday.

We detoured to the coolest manmade waterfalls and nature made springs under the rainbow.

And we cimbed oak trees dripping with moss at Chinsegut. Sigh. If you take the house tour, don’t forget to walk the grounds and climb the tree house. Stay tuned!

  1. Hello Sharon,
Congrats on your printed book! Happy Birthday to you! Beautiful views of the trees, wildlife park and the fish.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.

  2. Your book title fits very much where I live the last 2 years. In an old castle with a beautiful park and I don’t know how many crows, enough to wake you up in the morning with a terrible noise. And in the evening they are all “singing” again ! Funny is that we also have 6 castle cats which are not afraid and live peacefully with the crows !

  3. What beautiful shots of a beautiful place. Love the grounds and I’ll visit the treehouse. Beautiful.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

  5. Congratulations on your new book launch!! How exciting.

I love where you stayed. Paddling a network of water would be fun. I love the tree house and everything else.
